It's Almost camp time!!!!

This camp has no age restrictions. It is designed for children and adults with physical disabilities to experience movement, including power mobility, support balanced positioning,  communication, and connect various technologies while having FUN! Family members, caretakers are welcomed. Each camper must bring a parent or caregiver.

Numerous professionals with expertise in the industry including representatives from several companies, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and a  nurse will be available to assist campers. 

This is a totally free camp designed for individuals to experience self-directed mobility and communication in a fun,  interactive outdoor environment. Incorporating technology to support participation in meaningful activities is the primary focus.

Campers are encouraged to participate in camp outings, games, crafts, fishing, and evening events. Campers will be assisted to explore and engage with others.

On Monday, June 10, 2024 from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. camp will focus on our technology day and equipment expo. We will have a hands on approach to positioning for function, seating selections (planar/contoured/molded), switch access, power seating, computer access, environmental connectivity, communication, chair selection and electronic programming. We will be using power mobility as a TREATMENT. This day will be dedicated to getting individuals positioned, chairs programmed, access determined, and technology working together. This is a day designed as an educational experience platform for PT's, OT's, SLP's, and various other professionals who work with children and adults with  disabilities. As a parent or professional, even if not attending camp, you are welcome to come! This day is also at no charge. It is meant to connect you with other families and professionals in a casual environment.
